Babys First Birthday Ideas For Cowboy Parties

Under the Hats

This is actually a memory game, perfect for cowboy 1st birthday parties.

You will need a number of cowboy hats for this one, which should be numbered for easier game implementation. You also need one toy for each hat.

The goal of your kid guests is to list down the corresponding toy per hat. To make it more challenging, we suggest that you introduce each player randomly to each hat, and just give them a peek per hat. Do this one at a time, until all the players had their turn to look under the hats. Give them time to list down their answers, check their papers, and the player with the most number of correct answers, wins the game!

Perfect Shot

It’s now time to test your kid guests’ ability to shoot, and we mean their ala basketball shooting ability rather than their gun shooting prowess. However, unlike in a basketball game, their target here is not a net but a number of cowboy hats.

You can make this game more challenging by having different levels (Hat 2 is 2 feet farther than Hat 1, and so on). On the other hand, you can just widen the distance of all hats from your players. Whether you go one way or the other, we know that your kiddies will have lots of fun playing this game.

The player with the least number of misses, will be declared your MVP, and will win a prize!

Draw Me A Cowboy

If you think your kid guests will enjoy a non-physical activity for a change, then you might want to consider this as one of your party’s activities.

Since drawing with just pen and paper can be a wee bit boring, we think that asking your guests to draw something cowboy-related using melted crayons is the better way to go.

You will need some crayons and candle, the number depends on how many groups you will have. The idea is to "draw" something cowboy-related by melting a crayon, catch those melted crayon droppings using the given paper, and blow the melted colors in the right direction before the crayon becomes solid once again. Repeat the whole process until the right cowboy drawing is achieved.

To make this a perfectly safe and fun activity, we suggest that heating the crayons should be left to the parents and just leave the blowing to the kids.

The parents of the birthday celebrant get to choose the winning piece.

Pin Me To My Pony

This is the cowboy version of the popular game Pin the Tail On The Donkey. To play this game, you need a picture of your birthday boy and a picture of a cute pony.

The goal of each player is to place the picture of your birthday boy on his pony. As with the original game, your kiddies are blindfolded when they attempt this feat. The kid who was able to pin your cowboy nearest to the target deserves a cool prize.
